Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks within the organisation
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and analysis, analysing trends and patterns to anticipate and respond to emerging risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement risk mitigation plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements
- Provide timely and comprehensive risk reports to senior management, highlighting key risk indicators and recommendations for effective risk management
- Participate in the development and delivery of risk management training programs for employees, promoting a risk-aware culture throughout the organisation
- Help towards the delivery of the firms iCARA
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in risk management, applying knowledge to enhance the organisations risk frameworks and processes
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a risk-related role, such as risk analysis, risk assessment, or risk control
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles, frameworks, and tools
- Ability to analyse complex data sets and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation
- Proven track record of successfully implementing risk management strategies and making data-driven decisions
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., finance, business, or economics) is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM, or CFA) would be highly advantageous
