Broadgate are partnered with a highly regarded Trust & Fiduciary business based in Zurich in the search for a Financial Accountant. This established business is a recognised partner of wealth management, trust and legal services across Switzerland and has been providing support to private individuals and organisations for over 50 years.

They are looking for an Client Accountant to join their organisation to support a portfolio of onshore clients with accounting duties. The ideal candidate will have experience within financial services and will be technically strong.

Location: Zurich, Switzerland

Responsibilities:

• Accounting for portfolio of clients and groups in accordance with common accounting standards.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for domestic and foreign companies, foundations and trusts in accordance with OR, IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER.
• Preparation of VAT statements.
• Advising our customers on accounting topics.

Requirements:

• Accounting experience - fiduciary sector/trust accounting desirable.
• Financial expertise in the areas of accounting, consolidation and accounting according to OR, IFRS and/or Swiss GAAP FER.
• Customer-oriented and pro-active personality.
• Native or business fluent knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
