Job description

Broadgate are excited to be partnered with a financial technology company that provides services to asset managers. The company's platform combines data, regulatory knowledge, and workflow to simplify process for asset managers.

As the Investor Relations Director, you will take the lead in developing and nurturing relationships with a portfolio of investors and consultants. This includes ongoing client relationship management to foster long-term partnerships.

The role is paying £90,000 - £110,000 and based in London.

About You:

  • 10+ years' Investor Relations experience in Asset Management and/or an Investment Consulting environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of key asset classes used by institutional investors including DC and DB schemes.
  • Ability to develop relationships with clients, investors and consultants, demonstrating credibility.
  • Effective communicator with an ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing multiple internal and external relationships.

About the Role:

  • Assist and provide guidance for day to day and complex non-standard investor related queries
  • Support development of strategic consultant relationships
  • Prepare Investor communications in relation to fund / document change
  • Ability to network and engage with Pensions professionals to gauge market sentiment, areas of investor focus
  • Act as main point of contact for investor/consultant day-to-day enquiries, including issue resolution and escalation, where required
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with each of the fund delegates including investment managers, administrators and depositaries, to ensure speedy resolution of issues.
  • Maintain responsibility and point of contact for the regulatory oversight of funds, ensuring that all fund reporting is received and recorded on a timely basis and appropriate actions initiated as required.
  • Ensure the review of KPIs from all delegates including the administrator, transfer agent, distributor and Investment Manager are completed timely and actively participate in the monthly approval process.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly reporting for internal users and fund boards.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the relationship
  • Meet with key institutional investors, consultants etc.
  • Proactively manage service commitments and client/investor expectations
