About the Role:

My client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Conduct MI and Reporting Specialist to join their team. This role is critical for driving efficiency in reporting processes and enhancing our risk and control metrics. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality conduct reports, ensuring data integrity, and facilitating improvements across our MI reporting lifecycle. With a focus on governance and reporting standards, you'll support senior stakeholders by producing insights and metrics to guide strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, scope, and deliver efficiency improvements across the end-to-end reporting lifecycle.
  • Streamline reporting processes to enhance access to risk and control MI, accelerating decision-making and response times.
  • Use professional judgement in ambiguous situations to protect the interests of our customers and the business.
  • Deliver and present board-level conduct reporting and ensure consistent governance and oversight.
  • Conduct data reviews to identify integrity issues, gaps, and potential risks from a holistic perspective.
  • Collaborate with business units to improve Conduct MI quality and enhance data capture.
  • Explore new metrics to provide deeper insights at a granular level.

Ownership of Metrics and Tolerance Management:

  • Oversee the metric and tolerance change process, ensuring all changes are documented, reviewed, and tracked.
  • Ensure all proposed changes are discussed in relevant forums, documented, and retained for audit purposes.
  • Share updates on progress with key stakeholders and review metrics annually to ensure ongoing relevance.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Attend Outcome Owner and Customer Proposition forums, providing independent oversight and challenge.
  • Support reporting processes for metrics not strategically sourced, including contributions to the Conduct Dashboard.
  • Partner closely with teams to ensure Conduct MI aligns with business needs and strategic objectives.

Governance and Control:

  • Maintain controls within tolerance and produce various artefacts for senior stakeholders, including board presentations and reports.
  • Collaborate with risk and audit teams to manage reporting, audit activities, and internal action tracking.
  • Participate in working groups to enhance risk and control reporting.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in MI reporting, conduct metrics, or risk and control reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data integrity and quality assurance.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities, with attention to documentation and change management.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, to drive process improvements and support decision-making.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools, such as Qlik, is advantageous.
