Broadgate are partnered with a globally renowned business in the search for a Senior Tax Accountant (Direct Tax). You'll collaborate and be a crucial link with the business and other members in the finance team and be responsible for the production of complete and accurate corporation tax returns for companies within the group; the preparation of individual company tax provisions and tax disclosures and timely and accurate information concerning the corporate tax charge to the finance department.

Experience in a large organisation dealing with UK corporation tax is essential.

Location: London, Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Negotiating and agreeing the tax liabilities with HMRC and responding to correspondence from HMRC.
• Interaction between the Tax team and the business on processes that support tax compliance and returns.
• Capturing tax information required for tax compliance; incrementally improve the accounting for tax risk provisioning and involved in the automation and digitisation of processes.

Requirements:

• Work independently and part of a wider team.
• Experience of UK corporation tax matters in large business and/or large accounting practice.
• Build relationships and influence people across a business.
