Senior Financial Accountant - 6 month FTC

Broadgate is partnered with a leading Insurance group in the appointment of a Senior Financial Accountant on an initial 6 month FTC.

This role will be part of a global finance team, assisting with financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial, regulatory, and management reports.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial closing processes.
• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts.
• Post general ledger transactions.
• Assist with tax calculations.
• Maintain and develop systems and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in financial closing processes.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
• Experience in financial services, preferably insurance or reinsurance.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior management.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Data-driven mindset.
• Collaborative and results-oriented approach.

Whats on Offer:
