My client, a prominent global wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced Compliance Professional to step into a senior role as Senior Compliance Officer / Deputy Head of Compliance. This position is perfect for someone eager to deepen their expertise and grow in a hands-on role, working directly alongside a Head of Compliance who values mentorship and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Monitoring & Testing: Lead the daily monitoring and testing of compliance across key areas, assessing procedural effectiveness and reporting outcomes.
  • Regulatory Engagement: Oversee responses to regulatory requests, manage filings, and ensure seamless compliance documentation.
  • Team Leadership Support (Long term): Mentor junior team members, promoting a collaborative and growth-focused team culture.
  • Partnering with Senior Leadership: Engage regularly with senior management to provide compliance insights, aligning best practices with strategic goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Finance, and third-party vendors to enhance compliance processes firm-wide.

What You’ll Bring:
  • Experience: 5+ years in a compliance role within regulated financial services, ideally wealth management.
  • Skills: Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills; experience engaging cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Integrity: High discretion and judgment, especially in managing sensitive information.
