Our client, one of the leading fund providers in Europe, is seeking a skilled professional to step into a key role as Senior Risk and Compliance Officer. This position is a newly created role due to the company's recent growth and will be the first hire under the Head of Risk and Compliance.

Core Responsibilities:

• Compliance Oversight: Conduct day-to-day monitoring and testing, ensuring compliance across critical areas, assessing processes, and documenting findings.
• Regulatory Liaison: Lead interactions with regulators, handle filings, and maintain organized, up-to-date compliance records.
• Executive Collaboration: Regularly engage with senior management, offering compliance insights that support organizational strategy and best practices. 
• Cross-Functional Partnerships: Work closely with IT, Finance, and external vendors to enhance compliance initiatives throughout the firm.
• Product Compliance:  Oversee the compliance of products and services with relevant regulations, ensuring all offerings meet legal standards, and managing product-related risk assessments. 

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a compliance role within a regulated financial services environment, ideally in Asset Management / Funds. 
• Skills: Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills, with a track record of working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Ideally, some product compliance exposure.
